obert Cameron Leggett (1897-1973), an educator, was the head of the Department of Modern Languages at Thayer Academy from 1925 to 1962. The collection contains a black-and-white panoramic photograph titled “Company E-Harvard University R.O.T.C. 1917” and a certificate from Harvard University authorizing Leggett’s early graduation and leave to enlist in the United States Army during World War I.
